It is always interesting to know what your pet would eat if they were in the wild. However, there is never a reason that is big enough for you to ever let a captive animal out into the wild. They will not survive. However, what do bearded dragons eat in the wild? As their biggest native habitat is in Australia, they prefer hot desert areas and savannas, and similar. That, with the fact that they are strong omnivores with a less than picky diet, they will eat pretty much anything they find.
That food would include almost anything that they can fit into their mouths and some things that won’t. Such as crickets, beetles, small rodents and lizards, and almost any leafy greens, fruit, or vegetables that they can find. That is one great thing about owning a beardie, they will eat almost anything that you can give to them. However, you do have to be a little more careful when they are captive pets.
Nice blog! This is worth sharing for bearded dragon owners!
