There are so many types of reptiles that people are starting to keep as pets. They range from small ones to some pretty large and dangerous reptiles. However, what reptiles can you not keep as pets? While the law will change depending on where you are in the world, there are some pretty common rules to a lot of them. Of course, there are some that are just illegal, so make sure you know what they are before you buy one.
Crocodilians, such as alligators, crocodiles, caimans, etc. are all illegal pretty much everywhere in the world that has some sort of regulations. As are any large dangerous snakes, such as pythons, boas, cobras, anacondas, and vipers. While there are some places in the world that you can have them as pets, it takes a special kind of person to look after one correctly. Therefore, as they are very dangerous, they should not be kept as pets.
