Before you buy any pet, you will want to know as much about them as possible. As reptiles are becoming more popular, people are looking to them for a lifetime of companionship. However, some animalssuch as Iguanas can become very large, so people are leaning towards smaller reptiles, as they often need less space. Although, that doesn’t mean that they are going to need less attention. So, how big do crested geckos get?
The first thingthat you need to know is that the floor space they take up is not as much as the height; they love to climb, so a tall vivarium is much better for them. Providing that you care for your crested gecko properly, by feeding it the right food at the right times, the average adult will grow to between five and ten inches long. Female crested geckos will always be larger than males when they are fully grown. A male is an adult at 25 grams, and a female is an adult at around 40 grams but can be over 55 grams.
